DIMAFIX PEN
Does your model keep warping or, even worse, cracking on the print bed? Do you have to resort to plain methods like using laquer, parchment paper or adhesive tape? We are happy to resolve this sort of problems by presenting you a DimaFix Pen.
DimaFix is a specific additive for heated beds of our 3D printers. The product is distributed on the market in a plain small bottle with a handy spreading tip and 90 ml of volume to ensure multiple applications through spreading the product on the print bed (duration time is the same as for its spray version).
DimaFix has been developed both for ABS and any type of polymeric material, to avoid that the initial print layers come off the contact surface. Any material, after having brought to the correct printing temperature, undergoes a physiological retreat, whereas this product fixes it on the bed surface minimizing thus printing retreats. The product does not damage polymers and due to this the print could be easily removed from the bed when it’s cooled down, without any unwanted breakings at the end of printing. After printing is completed you can clean both the bed and the bottom of your printed object with a plain damp cloth. Dimafix does not leave any marks due to its solvability in water.
Our opinion is that use of this product apart from simplifying the printing process ensures also removal of the object undamaged at the end of printing. Otherwise, use of plain methods could cause various problems, for example, adhesive tape is capable of melting and sticking to the product, leaving us no choice but to use paddles and scrapers to remove it whereas the lacquer risks to damage our material and does not guarantee 100% a secure object removal off the contact surface.
DimaFix could be used with any type of 3D printer.
